2015/16 Annual subscription invoices were emailed on 20 December from Attunga’s new accounting system and, due to learner driver error, they were unfortunately marked as “Draft” and dated 1st October rather than the date of emailing.
The new accounting system will automatically reconcile member payments and periodically send subscription reminders where a balance is outstanding.
The old payment page on the website has been removed as some people chose to use the page for 2015/16 subscription payments and others were using it for bookings.
Due to increasing demand by members and guests for use of the Lodge during busy summer holiday periods the board has decided to introduce a summer priority booking system similar to the system that operates during the winter ski season. This will ensure priority access for members who want to use the Lodge during these busy periods.
This system will apply only to the Christmas/New year period and the Easter week
In the case of 2016 will only apply to the Easter period.
Priority will be given to Members making bookings of five (5) or more nights (bookings don’t need to start on a Sunday).
Members will be limited to a maximum of three (3) rooms per booking during the priority booking period.
The priority booking period commences from the end of the long week-end in October and closes two (2) months before the booking period in question.
The board will allocate rooms based on when bookings were received during the priority period
Within two (2) months of the booking period in question any member or non-member can book any number of rooms subject to availability.
Members and guests are reminded that Attunga is a self-catering lodge out of ski season time although there may be opportunities for catering arrangements to be made with our lodge managers, Errol and Elsa for larger groups if there is sufficient demand.
Please call Elsa & Errol on +61 2 6457 6050 to discuss your requirements for room reservations before proceeding to the Book & Pay Form on the website.
After a late start to the 2015 season low temperatures, fresh snowfalls and snowmaking on the main slopes has resulted in excellent skiing conditions over recent weeks – photo to the left is from the Golf Course ski area last week.
Snow depth graphs comparing the 2015 season to date with the 2013 & 2014 seasons are set out below from the Snowy Hydro site.
Around 20cm is expected in the next few days and the Grasshopper from MountainWatch is suggesting additional snowfalls of 20-30cm when the next system moves through Thredbo around the 18th of August.
