After a late start to the 2015 season low temperatures, fresh snowfalls and snowmaking on the main slopes has resulted in excellent skiing conditions over recent weeks – photo to the left is from the Golf Course ski area last week.
Snow depth graphs comparing the 2015 season to date with the 2013 & 2014 seasons are set out below from the Snowy Hydro site.
Around 20cm is expected in the next few days and the Grasshopper from MountainWatch is suggesting additional snowfalls of 20-30cm when the next system moves through Thredbo around the 18th of August.
